Tip of the Week

Solid cornering is an integral part of mountainbiking. To maintain speed while turning, bikers "carve" by pressing their outside foot down into the pedal. To prevent the rear wheel from sliding out, apply downward force to hold an edge. Also, press down slightly on the handlebars to keep the front wheel rooted to the ground.
